The Netsys NM-1000 is a converter that translates transmission signals from a twisted-pair

1000BASE-TX cable(UTP) to 1000BASE-FX fiber optic cable. The converter automatically

adapts to the highest level of performance supported by the device connected to the

Ethernet port. When the device is a switch or a workstation that supports full duplex, the

converter adapts to the full-duplex mode and provides an effective 2000Mbps bandwidth.

When the device connected is a hub or a workstation that supports only half duplex, the

converter adapts to the half-duplex mode and provides the nominal 1000Mbps bandwidth.

NM-1000 supports conversion between 10/100/1000Base-T and 1000Base-LX / SX network,

which are SC / SFP / WDM connectors with single-mode or multi-mode media as required.

With high performance of data transmission and easy installation, the NM-1000 can

build the ISP network solution of FTTH (Fiber to the Home) or FTTC (Fiber to the Curb)

for ISPs and FTTB (Fiber to the Building), also for small office network environment of

enterprises.
