Product OVERVIEW
The NV-320DP is a low cost Copper/Fiber to xDSL solution using the G.993.2 VDSL2 standard technology using only a single copper wire pair. With 1000Base-X SFP slot, NV-320DP is designed specifically for FTTdp/FTTC and supporting both symmetrical and asymmetrical transmission at up to 160/160Mbps and 2Mbps / 500Kbps at 3000 meters, this is a perfect solution to extend LAN to buildings, hotels, hospitals or any location outside the reach of 10/100/1000Base-T (Ethernet) or fiber optic.

To offer a variety of application, NV-320DP is equipped with DIP switch for mode selection, which offer customer a convenient way to configure setting depending on your usage. For more band profile detail, please refer to user manual.
G.998.4 is a newer alternative to FEC (Forward Error Correction) and interleaving to providing a lower overhead (FEC loses about 12% whereas G.INP only corrects errors when they actually occur) so there is little overhead. G.998.4 was formerly known as G.INP and may also be referred to as Impulse Noise Protection or Physical Retransmission (PHY-R).
G998.4 operates at the physical layer. The transmitting modem keeps a copy of transmitted data in a retransmission buffer. If the receiver detects corruption (by way of a checksum) a retransmission is requested. If the transmitter responds in time, the data is repaired. The round-tip time of a retransmission should be <4ms. If the transmitter doesn't retransmit in time, the corrupt data is forwarded for higher level protocols to sort out.
NV-320DP is a relatively easy-to-use Ethernet Extender. There is no complicated procedure to set up a network, NV-320DP supports Auto-Negotiation function, which the only thing customer should do is Plug & Play, and the rest will be done by NV-320DP.
More and more people are using OTT media services and Video Conference/Meeting. NV-320DP supports Jumbo frame(MTU) 2K bytes on VDSL side, which makes NV-320DP the most suitable and reliable modem to above usage.
